FESTIVAL JAZZ MONDAY EVENING @ THE SILK MILL – HOTCLUB TRIO MENAGE
Wightlist proudly presents Menage, virtuoso Jazz Violinist Bob Brace (fingers smoking from playing piano at the Wheatsheaves earlier!) with Keith Newnham and JC Grimshaw, guitars and vocals, who have delighted festival goers since 2012. In true rustic spirit, the trio will play a set for a great night of Gypsy jazz a la Stephane Grappelli and DJango Reinhardt with flair, style and at times humor! They will be joined by stunning blues vocalist Angelina Grimshaw for a few vocal numbers. A full Bar is available and please do arrive hungry as chef Trevor Johnson from Bristol is catering to tantalise the taste buds with authentic Jamaican cuisine, hot enough to match the vibes!- what more could you want – and on a Monday night?
