Frome bookshop Sherlock and Pages are launching Luke Sherlock’s upcoming book
‘Forgotten Churches: Exploring England’s Hidden Treasures‘
With an exhibition and pop up bookstall from
Friday 21st-Sunday 23rd March,
10am-4pm daily.
There will be a launch event from 6.30pm on Thursday 20th March with an illustrated talk around 7pm.
The exhibition will feature illustrations by Ioana Pioaru whose illustrations are featured in the book.
For those of you not in Frome, Luke will record a YouTube episode of the weekend’s activities for you. Hopefully in this way we can bring a bit of Frome to you. You can subscribe to Luke’s channel if you would like to hear more literary tales from Sherlock & Pages.
The formal date for the publication of the book is Thurs 27 March but advanced copies will be available in Frome during the exhibition and Luke willbe on hand to sign them.
We’re really pleased to be hosting this exhibition; a celebration of not only our glorious heritage but also a lot of hard work by a whole team of individuals who helped bring the book together. There will be an arts and heritage themed pop up shop during the exhibition.
