Traditional Catalan Calçotada party. A taste of catalan culture in Frome.

Join Lo Rapitenc (from their wonderful shop in Cheap Street) for the first Calcotada in Frome at the Silk MIll. The calcotada is a much loved and cherished catalan tradition. Expect Calcots (a leek like vegetable only grown in Catalonia, Spain) charred on the BBQ to dip in Romesco sauce – as messy as it is delicious! Followed by chicken for meat eaters and a meat-free stew for vegans and vegetarians. There will be a bar, music and party atmosphere, Children welcome.
