In this unique workshop held in the Gallery in the heart of Frome’s Silk Mill Studios, you will be taught how to cut, shape & finish your own silver ring. This workshop is a perfect introduction for anyone keen to try jewellery making using traditional silversmithing methods. Amongst other techniques, you will learn:
How to thread and use a piercing saw to cut metal
How to use a jewellers bench peg
How to solder a ring
How to finish your design ready for wear
At the end of the session you will have a completely unique piece of silver jewellery made entirely by you! (All tools and materials provided.)
